The short version

Nothing that tracks you loads until you choose. On your first visit the site asks. If you choose Reject, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, no analytics or advertising tags are loaded and no tracking cookies are set.

Measurement and advertising tags

Only if you choose Accept, the site loads:

Google Tag Manager, from Google LLC — the service that loads the tags below.
Google Analytics 4, from Google LLC — counts visits and records which pages are viewed, how you arrived at the site, and your approximate location.
Google Ads, from Google LLC — records when a visit leads to an enquiry or a click through to our booking engine, and can use visits to this site to show you our ads elsewhere.
Meta Pixel, from Meta Platforms, Inc. — records visits and actions such as a room search, and can use them to show you our ads on Facebook and Instagram.

These services set cookies and receive information about your device and browser, the pages you view, and your IP address. Each handles that information under its own privacy policy: Google and Meta.

You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings at the foot of every page. If you reject after accepting, the tags stop and the cookies this site set are removed.

Your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Forms

When you use the contact form or the groups form, we receive what you enter — your name, email address, telephone number, dates and message — and deliver it by email to the inn or, for group enquiries, to our sales team. The website does not store it. Delivery uses Amazon Simple Email Service.

Email is not a secure medium. Please do not send card numbers, identity documents or anything else sensitive through a form.

If you subscribe, your email address is sent to Sojern, which runs our guest marketing emails, so that we can send you offers and news from the inn. Every email includes a link to unsubscribe.

Booking

Booking is handled by SynXis, the reservation system operated by Aven Hospitality (formerly Sabre Hospitality). When you check rates or book, you leave this website for theirs, and their privacy notice applies there. Payment details are entered on their system and never reach this site.

What this website does not do

Our web host keeps no access logs for this site, and the site does not fingerprint your browser. Fonts and images are served from our own domain.
